Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 What, when we are dead and turned to dust? That indeed would be an unlikely return' 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 So did they not see the sky above them – how We have made it and beautified it, and there are no cracks in it? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 And We send down from the cloud water abounding in good, then We cause to grow thereby gardens and the grain that is reaped, 9 and tall palmtrees with compact spathes 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the people of Tubba; each one belied the apostles, wherefore fulfilled was My judgement. 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
