Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. By the honored Qur'an... 1 Indeed, they are astonished that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. So these deniers of the truth say, "This is indeed a strange thing, 2 What, when we are dead and become dust? That is a far returning!' 3 We know all that the earth takes away of them, and a Book of Records is with Us. 4 In fact, they have rejected the truth that has come to them, thus, they live in confusion. 5 What, have they never observed the heaven above them, (and seen) how We built and adorned it, leaving no crack? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 as a lesson and reminder for every human being who turns to God; 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 Before these, the people of Nooh had denied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Did We, then, become worn out by the first creation? Not at all; but they are in doubt about a fresh creation. 15
