Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 Nay, they wonder that there has come to them a warner (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves. So the disbelievers say: "This is a strange thing! 2 "When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be resurrected?) That is a far return." 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 (Have they not seen) how We have spread out the earth, placed on it firm mountains and have made all kinds of flourishing pairs of plants grow? 7 To give sight and as a reminder to every servant who turns frequently (to Allah). 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 And the tribe of 'Ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
