Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know that which the earth takes of them (their dead bodies), and with Us is a Book preserved (i.e. the Book of Decrees). 4 But no! They called the truth a lie when it came to them; so they are in a confused state. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered dates, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them was denied (the Hereafter) by the People of Noah, the Companions of the Rass, the Thamud, 12 And (the tribe of) A'ad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We then worn out by the first creation? Yet they are in doubt about a second creation. 15
