Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 Aye! they marvel that there hath come unto them a warner from among themselves; so the infidels Say: this is a thing wondrous! 2 Shall we be brought back when we are dead and have become dust? That is a return remote! 3 Well do We know how the earth consumes their bodies, for with Us is a record unfailing. 4 Nay, but they cried lies to the truth when it came to them, and so they are in a case confused. 5 Did they never observe the sky above them: how We built it and beautified it; and it has no cracks; 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We send down from the sky rain charted with blessing, and We produce therewith gardens and Grain for harvests; 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for our bondmen; and therewith We have quickened a dead land. Even so will be the coming forth. 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 Ad, the Pharaoh, Lot, 13 and the dwellers of the wooded dales [of Madyan,] and the people of Tubba: they all gave the lie to the apostles - and thereupon that whereof I had warned [them] came true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No, indeed; yet they are in doubt about a new creation. 15
