Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf; by oath of the Glorious Qur’an. 1 But they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say, "This is an amazing thing. 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 We know that which the earth taketh of them, and with Us is a recording Book. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth - We have spread it wide, and set upon it mountains firm, and caused it to bring forth plants of all beauteous kinds, 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We have sent down from the heaven water and blest wherewith We have caused gardens to grow and the grain reaped. 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 Cried lies before them the people of Noah and the men of Er-Rass, and Thamood, 12 And the A-ad, and Fir'awn, and the brethren of Lut. 13 And the Dwellers of the Woods, and the people of Tubb’a; each one of them denied the Noble Messengers, so My promised punishment proved true. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
