And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 And every soul shall come, and with it a driver and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
