And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And death's agony comes in truth; that is what thou wast shunning! 19 And the trumpet blast will sound: It would be the Day of Doom. 20 And every soul will come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 His companion will say: "Here is (the record) I have ready with me." 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 He shall say, 'Dispute not before Me! For I sent you beforehand -- the threat. 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
