And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the hardship of death came with the truth; “This is what you were escaping from!” 19 and [in the end] the trumpet [of resurrection] will be blown: that will be the Day of a warning fulfilled. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 It will be said to the angels, “Both of you fling every excessive ungrateful, stubborn person into hell.” 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 The Word cannot be changed with Me; I do not wrong My worshipers' 29
