And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge). 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 not even a word can he utter but there is a watcher with him, ever-present. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
