And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 every hinderer of the good, transgressor, disquieter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ And his comrade shall say, 'Our Lord, I made him not insolent, but he was in far error.' 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 The Word is not changed with Me; I wrong not My servants.' 29
