And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Everyone has come, each attended by one who will drive him on, and another who will bear witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And one part of him will say: "This it is that has been ever-present with me!" 23 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
