And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29
