And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 'Thou wast heedless of this; therefore We have now removed from thee thy covering, and so thy sight today is piercing.' 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29
