Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 The Lord will say, "Do not argue in My presence; I had certainly sent you a warning. 28 "The Word changes not before Me, and I do not the least injustice to My Servants." 29
