Indeed, We created the human. We know the whisperings of his soul, and are closer to him than the jugular vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 (And unto the evil-doer it is said): Thou wast in heedlessness of this. Now We have removed from thee thy covering, and piercing is thy sight this day. 22 His (angelic) companion will say, "(Lord), the record of his deeds is with me and is all ready". 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 My Word is not changed; and never do I inflict the least wrong upon My servants.” 29
