And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid. 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 And there shall come every soul therewith shall be a driver and a witness. 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 The command was given: “Cast into Hell every hardened, stubborn unbeliever, 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 Who set up with Allah another god. So cast him ye twain into the torment severe. 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 The Word is not changed with Me; I wrong not My servants.' 29
