We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 Each soul will come with a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29
