3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 (It will be said to the sinners): "Indeed you were heedless of this, now We have removed your covering, and sharp is your sight this Day!" 22 His companion will say: "Here is (the record) I have ready with me." 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 He saith: Contend not in My presence, when I had already proffered unto you the warning. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
