3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 The palsy of death will surely come. This is what you wished to avert. 19 And the trumpet blast will sound: It would be the Day of Doom. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 "Cast into Hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who hinders good, exceeds the limits, is immersed in doubts, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His comrade saith: Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he was (himself) far gone in error. 27 He will say, “Do not dispute before Me I had already warned you of the punishment.” 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
