3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two (angels) who keep the account, one sitting on the right, one on the left, take it down, 17 He does not utter a single word, without a ready recorder seated next to him. 18 And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 Every soul will be accompanied (by an angel) behind him and another as a witness. 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his companions shall say: This is what is ready with me. 23 (And it will be said): "Both of you throw (Order from Allah to the two angels) into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers, etc.). 24 Forbidder of good, exceeder of limits, doubter, 25 "Who set up another ilah (god) with Allah, then (both of you) cast him in the severe torment." 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
