And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 Not a word does he (or she) utter, but there is a watcher by him ready (to record it). 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 And his comrade shall say, 'This is what I have, made ready.' 23 (It will be said): 'Indeed, cast into Gehenna (Hell) every deviating unbeliever, 24 Hinderer of good, trespasser, doubter 25 who has set up with Allah another god. Indeed, you two, cast him into the terrible punishment' 26 ۞ His companion will say: Our Lord! I did not lead him into inordinacy but he himself was in a great error. 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
