And assuredly We have created man and We know whatsoever his soul whispereth unto him, and We are nigher unto him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receiving angels receive from him, one seated on the right and one on the left. 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And death's agony comes in truth; that is what thou wast shunning! 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 And every soul came, along with a herder and a witness. 21 (And unto the evil-doer it is said): Thou wast in heedlessness of this. Now We have removed from thee thy covering, and piercing is thy sight this day. 22 And his Companion will say: "Here is (his Record) ready with me!" 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, 25 who set up with God another god; therefore, you twain, cast him into the terrible chastisement.' 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 Allah will say: "Dispute not in front of Me, I had already, in advance, sent you the threat. 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29
