We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 Not a word he uttereth but there is with him a watcher ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: "This is what you have been avoiding!" 19 And the trumpet will be blown: this is the Day of the Threatening. 20 And every human being will come forward with [his erstwhile] inner urges and [his] conscious mind, 21 Certainly you were heedless of it, but now We have removed from you your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 (They will be told,) "Throw into hell every persistent disbelievers, 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 The Lord will say, "Do not argue in My presence; I had certainly sent you a warning. 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
