We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two receiving angels receive from him, one seated on the right and one on the left. 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the trumpet blast will sound: It would be the Day of Doom. 20 Each soul shall come with a driver, and a witness. 21 “You were indeed neglectful of this, so We have removed the veil for you, and your eyesight is sharp this day.” 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 (And it is said): Do ye twain hurl to hell each rebel ingrate, 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29
