Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 Then those clouds bearing the load (of minute things in space). 2 And those who move (on the water) gently, 3 And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter, 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 surely you are at variance (about the Hereafter); 8 Through which are deluded (away from the Truth) such as would be deluded. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 [and will be told:] "Taste this your trial! It is this that you were so hastily asking for!" 14 The pious ones will live amidst gardens and springs, 15 Receiving what is given them by their Lord. They were surely the virtuous before this. 16 sleeping little in the night-time, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
