Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And (the ships) that float with ease and gentleness; 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, 13 "Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak. 23
