Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds which carry dust particles, 1 And those who bear the load (of rain), 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 What you are promised is certainly true: 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Accursed be the conjecturers 10 Who are careless in an abyss! 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 and will be told, "Suffer the torment which you wanted to experience immediately". 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good; 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth! it is most surely the truth, just as you do speak. 23
