Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 and the burden-bearers 2 And those [ships] sailing with ease 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Undoubtedly, the promise you are given is surely true. 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 And by oath of the decorated heaven. 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 though only those who are averse to the Truth will turn away from (believing in it). 9 May the conjecturers perish, 10 Those who have forgotten in a state of intoxication. 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 Upon the day when they shall be tried at the Fire: 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 enjoying all that their Sustainer will have granted them [because,] verily, they were doers of good in the past: 16 They slept little in the night, 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised. 22 This, by the Lord of the heavens and the earth is as certain as your ability to speak. 23
