Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the winds which carry dust particles, 1 And (the clouds) that bear heavy weight of water; 2 And those [ships] sailing with ease 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 and the Judgement shall doubtlessly take place. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 surely you speak at variance, 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 asking, 'When shall be the Day of Doom?' 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 Taste your burning: this is that which ye sought to be hastened. 14 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and fountains. 15 taking whatsoever their Lord has given them; they were good-doers before that. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 And in their properties there was the right of the beggar, and the Mahrum (the poor who does not ask the others). 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
