Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 by the ships which smoothly sail on the oceans, 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 By the heaven with its passages, 7 your ideas are confused. 8 Through which are deluded (away from the Truth) such as would be deluded. 9 Cursed be the liars, 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 [It will be] a Day when they will be sorely tried by the fire, 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 [But,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves amid gardens and springs, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 They used to sleep but little of the night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 In the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for those who have strong faith. 20 And within yourselves. Can you not perceive? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
