Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the wind that scatters far and wide, 1 then the bearers of weight (the clouds), 2 and the smooth runners 3 And those (angels) who distribute (provisions, rain, and other blessings) by (Allah's) Command; 4 What you are threatened with is most surely true, 5 And verily Judgment and Justice must indeed come to pass. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Lo! ye, forsooth, are of various opinion (concerning the truth). 8 He is made to turn away from it who is (himself) averse. 9 Woe to the liars 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 Indeed the pious are among Gardens and water springs. 15 They shall receive what their Lord will bestow on them. They have done good works in the past, 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 And the beggar and the destitute had a share in their wealth. 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 And also in your ownselves. Will you not then see? 21 And in the heaven is your sustenance and what you are threatened with. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
