Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 and the Day of Judgment will inevitably take place. 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Verily, [O men,] you are deeply at variance as to what to believe: 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Woe to the liars 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 they who [mockingly] ask, "When is that Day of Judgment to be?" 12 It will be the Day when they are tormented at the Fire. 13 'Taste your trial. This is what you have sought to hasten' 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 Little of the night would they slumber, 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty, 20 and in your selves; what, do you not see? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
