Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 and the burden-bearers 2 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) 3 And those that distribute and apportion by Command;- 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 By the heaven containing pathways, 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 He is turned away from it who would be turned away. 9 Woe to the liars 10 who flounder in the depths of ignorance. 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 (And told:) "Taste your punishment. This is what you were trying to hasten." 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good; 16 They were in the habit of sleeping but little by night, 17 And in the hour of early dawn, they (were found) praying for Forgiveness; 18 And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived. 19 And in the earth are signs for those who are certain. 20 And in your own souls (too); will you not then see? 21 There is in the heavens your sustenance, and whatever has been promised you. 22 By the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is certainly the truth. It is as true as your ability to speak. 23
