Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 Then by oath of those which carry the burdens. 2 by the ships which smoothly sail on the oceans, 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 Undoubtedly, the promise you are given is surely true. 5 the Judgement will surely come to pass -- 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 surely, you are in different sayings, 8 Turned aside therefrom (i.e. from Muhammad SAW and the Quran) is he who is turned aside (by the Decree and Preordainment of Allah). 9 Death to those whose opinions are merely baseless conjectures. 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 "Taste ye your trial! This is what ye used to ask to be hastened!" 14 Verily the God-fearing will be amid Gardens and water-springs. 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 They used to sleep but little in the night. 17 And in the morning they asked forgiveness. 18 In whose wealth the suppliant and the deprived had a share. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 for, by the Sustainer of heaven and earth, this [life after death] is the very truth - as true as that you are endowed with speech! 23
