By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 and those that speed along with gentle ease, 3 then by the distributors (angels), ordered; 4 Verily the promise made to you is true: 5 And indeed, the recompense is to occur. 6 By the heaven with its numerous forms: 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Those who (flounder) heedless in a flood of confusion: 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 [It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire 13 "Taste you your trial (burning)! This is what you used to ask to be hastened!" 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 Taking what their Lord gives them; surely they were before that, the doers of good. 16 they would lie asleep during but a small part of the night, 17 And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness, 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 So by oath of the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this Qur’an is the Truth, in the same language that you speak. 23
