Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the dipersing winds that disperse. 1 and those that bear the burden [of the rain], 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 by the angels which distribute the affairs, 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 and surely the Doom is about to fall! 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 surely you are deeply at variance [as to what to believe] -- 8 and are turned away from him who is turned. 9 Destroyed are the falsifiers 10 who are dazed in perplexity 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 And it will be said to them, "Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for." 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 And in their property was a portion due to him who begs and to him who is denied (good). 19 In the earth are signs for those having sure faith; 20 And in yourselves. Then will you not see? 21 And in the heaven lies your sustenance, and the promise you are given. 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
