Hizb 53

Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? - 24 When they came to him they said, "Peace!" He answered, "Peace!" [saying to himself]. "They are strangers." 25 Then he went to his home so he brought a healthy calf. 26 And he set it before them, and said: wherefore eat ye not? 27 He felt afraid of them; but they said: "Have no fear," and gave him the good news of a wise son. 28 His wife came out lamenting, striking her forehead, and said: "I, am old and barren woman?" 29 They said, "This is true but your Lord has said, (that you will have a son); He is All-wise and All-knowing". 30 ۞ He said: what then is your errand! O ye sent ones! 31 They replied: 'We are sent to a sinful nation, 32 “To throw upon them stones of baked clay.” 33 “That are kept marked, with your Lord, for the transgressors.” 34 So We evacuated everyone who was a believer there, 35 We therefore found just one house over there that was Muslim. 36 and We left therein a sign for those who fear a painful punishment. 37 And in Moses (was another Sign): Behold, We sent him to Pharaoh, with authority manifest. 38 Then he turned away with his court, and said: a magician or a madman. 39 So We seized him and his hosts, and cast them into the sea. He became an object of much blame. 40 There is also evidence of the Truth in the story of Ad whom We struck with a violent wind 41 It spared nothing that it reached, but blew it into broken spreads of rotten ruins. 42 And in Thamood it was said to them: 'Take your enjoyment for awhile' 43 But they rebelled against their Lord's decree, and so the thunderbolt overtook them even while they gazed; 44 And neither stand up nor defend themselves. 45 And before them, We destroyed the people of Nooh; they were indeed a sinning nation. 46

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
