Hizb 53
< random >
Has the story reached thee, of the honoured guests of Abraham? 24 When they entered unto him, saying 'Peace!' he said 'Peace! You are a people unknown to me.' 25 Then he went back to his family and brought a fat roasted calf 26 and laid it before them, saying: “Will you not eat?” 27 Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: "Fear not." And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism). 28 Then his wife came forward with a loud voice, she smote her face, and said: "A barren old woman!" 29 'Such, says your Lord' they replied: 'He is the Wise, the Knower' 30 ۞ (Abraham) said: "And what, O ye Messengers, is your errand (now)?" 31 They replied: “Behold, we have been sent to a wicked people 32 So as to let loose clods of clay on them 33 marked out in thy Sustainer's sight for [the punishment of] such as have wasted their own selves." 34 So We brought forth such believers as were in it, 35 And We found not therein more than one house of the Muslims. 36 And We left therein a sign for those who fear the afflictive torment. 37 And in Musa: When We sent him to Firon with clear authority. 38 But Pharaoh turned away, showing arrogance on account of his power, and said (about Moses): “He is either a sorcerer or a madman.” 39 So We took him and his forces, and threw them into the sea; and his was the blame. 40 And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind. 41 and it destroyed everything over which it passed and reduced it to dust. 42 And in Thamud's also was a lesson, when it was said unto them: enjoy yourselves for a season. 43 But they rebelled against their Lord's decree, and so the thunderbolt overtook them even while they gazed; 44 So they were not able to stand, nor could they help themselves. 45 The people of Noah who lived before them were also evil doing people. 46

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
