And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Is this the legacy they have transmitted, one to another? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds! 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 for, verily, God Himself is the Provider of all sustenance, the Lord of all might, the Eternal! 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
