With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
