We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
