We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of everything created We two kinds; haply you will remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 And I have not created the jinn and mankind but that they should worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
