And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
