We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 The evildoers shall have their portion, like the portion of their fellows; so let them not hasten Me! 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
