We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 Surely, Allah is the Provider, the Possessor of Power, the Mighty. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
