We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 Do not choose other gods besides Him. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you". 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 And advise, for advice benefits the Muslims. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
