And We have built the heaven with hands (the Divine Power), and it is We Who give the expanse. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 “Therefore rush towards Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, there came no messenger to those before them, but they said, "He is a sorcerer or a madman." 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), so there is no blame upon you. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised. 60
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
