We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people. 53 So turn away thou from them, not thou art blameworthy. 54 But go on reminding them, as reminding benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 The wrongdoers will meet the same fate as their predecessors, let them not ask Me to hasten on [the punishment], 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
