We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them (Quraish pagans) you are not to be blamed (as you have conveyed Allah's Message). 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I desire from them no provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
